WHAT IS THIS BLOG ABOUT?

I have been a blogger since 2005. Over the years, my life has changed drastically and so has my focus. I've written for blogs about: educational products, education, therapeutic parenting, free-lance writing, natural health, and a myriad of subjects. The subject that has pulled on my heart the most through the years has been seeing broken hearts and lives saved, healed, and restored to fellowship with their Creator.

The title of this blog is based on Isaiah 54:13, which says, "All your children will be taught by the Lord and great will be the peace of your children." Next in the chapter, is a list of promises followed by, "This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and this is their vindication from me, declares the Lord." Although this was originally intended for the children of Israel, we know that we, as Christians, are grafted into the household of God and thus,to many of the promises.

ALL YOUR CHILDREN will follow this mindset and become a place where we can claim the promises of God over those who need healing and restoration. Ephesians 6:17 tells us that the sword of the spirit is the "word of God" or  literally, the rhema word of God or in other words, the spoken word of God.  When we speak God's Word and when He speaks it to us in our spirits, that is the rhema word of God in process. This is what we are told to use as a weapon of our warfare along with: prayer, faith, peace, truth, etc. In writing here, we will attempt to incorporate as many of these weapons of warfare as possible.

Our words have power. The Bible tells us that "death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it will eat the fruit thereof." Proverbs 18:21 Our prayers also have power, "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." James 5:16.

I have known people who dislike this type of praying and call it "Name it and Claim it" or "Blab it and Grab it". The concept has been misunderstood because some have taken the principle way out of context and prayed for personal gain, thus treating God like a genie and the Bible like a magic lamp. This is not what God intends. He will not be honored by selfishness. He IS honored when we take Him at His Word, believing that what He says is true. He is honored when we remind Him of His promises. He takes delight in keeping them. He is so faithful that we CAN name and claim those promises as long as we are Kingdom-minded. We are essentially agreeing with what He says.

If we pray in accordance with His Will, He will hear us. God is not displeased when we do so.It is His will that no one should perish but that all should come to repentance. Part of our focus on ALL YOUR CHILDREN will be aimed at spiritual growth and Spirit-filled living. Prayers may be offered for adult children or for spiritual children--those we are impacting by helping to birth new life in them.

I hope you will join me on this blog. Please feel free to send me a prayer request or comment. All comments are pre-screened so if you want a comment to remain private, state so and I will not publish the comment, but, rather, pray on my own. If you want prayer on the blog, we will do so and post the prayer request along with an appropriate verse. We will leave off the people's names, of course.
